This is a radical update of the text to the current words most like the intended meaning of the original texts. It may seem shocking to the person who has read the 1611 version for the past 50 years, but the Millennials will get it on the first go. The exception is Volume 4, where the updates are mostly “Thee” and “thou” to “you” and the “…est” has been dropped from “hear” and “see”. This is a five-volume set of the 1611 King James Bible with updated English usage, over 7,700 historical footnotes identifying such personages as the Queen of Sheba, relationship charts of the Old and New Testaments, and a dictionary of symbols used in prophetic passages.

Volume 1 contains the books of Genesis through Deuteronomy consisting of 479 pages, 1,769 footnotes, and a 12-page chart of relationships of the major persons in Genesis that can be printed on 8.5″ x 11″ paper and taped together to form a chart.

Volume 2 – Old Testament Preachers and Prophets

Volume 2 consists of the books of Joshua, Judges, Books of the Kingdoms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Twelve Minor Prophets. It has 894 pages and 2,151 footnotes.

Volume 4 Writings of Hidden Things

Volume 4 consists of the books usually found in the more recent editions of the Apocrypha as well as the more ancient popular writings that gradually dropped out of use.
